On each dog show in Poland the judge is entitled to award the certificate for the show champion title (abbreviated CWC, which is equivalent of the foreign CAC – Certificat au Championnat).
The certificate (CWC) may be awarded both to a male and a female, aged minimum 15 months, graded excellent and placed 1st in any of the following classes: intermediate, open, working and champion, regardless of the number of entries.
To become Polish Champion a male/female dog must have been awarded CWC three times, by three different judges. At least one CWC has to be achieved at International or Club Show. The minimal period of 6 months is required between obtaining the first and the last CWC.
Information on mutual recognition of champion titles (Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine)
Polish Champion title can be awarded on the basis of one CWC/CAC for members of cynological organizations from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine only.
Titles awarding to dogs registered in BCU (Belarus) has been suspended - decision of the Main Board of the Polish Kennel Club.
Rules for awarding the title of Polish Champion by one CWC:
- the male/female must have an approved national champion title of the country in which it is registered - a copy of the diploma must be attached to the application,
- the male/female must getting one CWC at a international show in Poland.

The Polish Puppy Champion title is granted to a male/female dog on the basis of Best Minor Puppy and/or Best Puppy titles awarded three times by three different judges. At least one Junior Winner title must be achieved at the International or Club Show. No specific time period is required.
The Polish Puppy Champion is issued by the Main Board of Polish Kennel Club (ZKwP) upon owner’s request. Applications for issuing a diploma are verified on the basis of show report, which should be submitted by the dog show organiser within 30 days after the show.
The Main Board Office shall issue the diploma and send the original document by post.

The Polish Junior Champion title is granted to a male/female dog on the basis of Junior Winner titles awarded three times by three different judges. At least one Junior Winner title must be achieved at the International or Club Show. No specific time period is required.
The Polish Junior Champion is issued by the Main Board of Polish Kennel Club (ZKwP) upon owner’s request. Applications for issuing a diploma are verified on the basis of show report, which should be submitted by the dog show organiser within 30 days after the show.

The Polish Veteran Champion title may be awarded on the basis of the Veteran Winner title obtained 3 times from 3 different judges. At least one of these marks must be awarded at a speciality, club or international show, and no time interval between these marks is required.
The Polish Veteran Champion title is granted on the basis of winner titles awarded at dog shows held after 1st January, 2015.
The diploma is issued by the Main Board of Polish Kennel Club (ZKwP) upon owner’s request. Applications for issuing a diploma are verified on the basis of show report, which should be submitted by the dog show organiser within 30 days after the show.

The title Polish Grand Champion is issued by the Head Office of ZKwP.
The title can be awarded to dogs and bitches, who meet the following conditions:
- have an approved Polish Champion title,
- obtained three CWC certificates in the champion class, obtained from 01.02.2018 at international dog shows or champion shows organized in Poland, from three judges, however, no time interval between certificates is required.

Polish Champion title can be awarded on the basis of one CWC/CAC for members of cynological organizations from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Ukraine only.
Titles awarding to dogs registered in BCU (Belarus) has been suspended - decision of the Main Board of the Polish Kennel Club.
The Main Board of the Polish Kennel Club informs about the agreement on the mutual recognition of the National Champion Title between the Uniunea Chinologica din Moldova – UchM and the Polish Kennel Club. The agreement was signed and came into force on 12.11.2023.
Under this agreement the Moldavian Champion obtains the title of Polish Champion by receiving the CWC at the international show in Poland and Polish Champions obtain the Moldavian Champion title by receiving one CAC at any show set in Moldova.
The Main Board of the Polish Kennel Club informs about the agreement on the mutual recognition of the National Champion Title between the Estonian Kennel Union and the Polish Kennel Club. The agreement was signed and came into force on 21.01.2014.
Under this agreement the Estonian Champion obtains the title of Polish Champion by receiving the CWC at the international show in Poland and Polish Champions obtain the Estonian Champion title by receiving one CAC at any show set in Estonia.
Moreover, since 2011 there are in force agreements between the Polish Kennel Club and the Lithuanian Cynological Society, the Latvian Cynological Federation, the Ukrainian Kennel Union and the Belorussian Cynological Union.
The parties agreed that dogs registered in their studbooks, granted with the show champion title of one of the parties, acquires the show champion title of the other party by receiving one CWC in the case of Poland and one CAC in the case of Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraina and Belarus. The CWC and CAC must be received at the CACIB show.
There is the following procedure of the national champion title approval in countries represented by the parties: the dog owner requests the national cynological organisation (recognized by the FCI)
for approval of the title of Polish/Lithuanian/Latvian/Ukrainian/Belarussian Champion and submits the CAC/CWC granted at the international show, the copy of the pedigree and copy of the champion title diploma issued by his country.
After receiving and checking the above mentioned documents, the country granting the champion title, sends the diploma on the postal address of the owner.
